APPLE REVEALS iPAD VERSION 2
The iPad2 or apple iPad2 is the second iteration of iPad, a tablet computer designed by Apple Inc. It was introduced in March 2 ,2011 by Apple Inc CEO Steve Jobs at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. It serves primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books,periodicals,movies,music,games and web content.
It is has a new design of the tablet consisting of 2 cameras;front and rear facing camera for Face time and High Definition video recording. It is 33 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter which is comfortable for hands. It consists of a dual core apple A5 processor which works with the twice speed of ipad and the processing is nine times faster . It can store information upto 64GB. It has a9.7 inch (diagonal) display LED - back lit glossy wide screen Multi- touch display with IPS technology and 1024-by-768- pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch(ppi).Its screen is fingerprint-resistant with oleophobic coating.It offers CDMA support for Verizon Wireless in the United States.Its battery is built in 25-watt-hour rechargeable made up of lithium polymer.It is also helpful as it allows 10 hours surfing the web on Wi-Fi,watching video,or listening to music.
We can charge the battery by using power adapter or USB to computer system.It has 3 sensors mainly three axis gyro, accelerometer and ambient light sensor. It has IOS4 operating system which is inbuilt with thousands of apps which make easy for us to access. It also unveiled the Smart Cover, a screen protector that accessory that attaches magnetically to the face of the device.Removing the cover wakes up the device and has a microfiber bottom that cleans the iPad. It also converts to an iPad stand when folded.
The iPad 2 will be released in United States in march 11, 2011.The other countries including Australia,Austria,Belgium,Canada,Czech republic,Denmark,Finland,France,Germany,Greece,Iceland,Italy,Hungary,Japan,Luxembourg,Mexico,Netherlands,NewZealand,Norway,Poland,Portugal,Spain,Sweden,Switzerland and United kingdom will be able to buy in march 25,2011.Its estimated cost is $499.
