It was released in 1993 and had mobile features as well as a calendar, address book, world time, calculator, notepad, email, fax and games. For the technology of nowadays it would be featureless and it also lacked the camera but at those times it was a really remarkable product. The developed smartphone created by DELL was named DELL STREAK.

Dell STREAK allows users to stay connected to Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and also a phone call. Having full function 3G phone with IM and SMS capabilities and real time Facebook and Flickr upload abilities it makes sharing easier.
Disadvantages and Threats:
Streak has Android but it is devoid of Éclair 2.1 OS. The wallpapers are not as attractive as the photos that you can caputre but it could be solved by any user by downloading any picture he wants and the limited use of text-to-speech. It has poor speakers, lack of messaging dictionary and no flash support.
A rather concerning subject is the threats. Unless protected by a proper anti-malware it has all chances of being prone to the DroidDream malware which has greatly affected the Android market. This can install any program without your knowledge and can send spam mail and get spread with it. To get rid of this virus other than changing online passwords, inform your contacts that their personal information may have been stolen, and maybe place some sort of fraud alert on your credit report (depending on how much info was on your Streak in the first place), you can keep reading. If you aren't sure whether DroidDream has forced its way into your Streak, then the best way to check is to install Lookout Mobile security and run a scan.
