Sony has announced the launch of its selfie-focussed camera phone, the Xperia C4 (which it calls a PROSelfie smartphone) at a price of Rs 29,490. It comes with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera.

Following its announcement last month, the Xperia Z3+ (Xperia Z4 in Japan) is now available for pre-orders in the UK. A number of retailers have started offering the unlocked handset for £549 and with contract for just £32 per month.

OnePlus, a day after announcing the new permanent 50$ price cut for the One handset in Europe and the US, has given details on the upcoming Android 5.1 update for the 'One' smartphone. The firm has also confirmed the name of their new handset to be 'OnePlus 2', yes, the number 2 instead of "OnePlus Two".

Sony is all set to update their Xperia Z line of devices to Android Lollipop 5.1 this July. The company announced that the latest build of the operating system, the Android Lollipop 5.1 is under development and will be initially available by July.

PROJECT SOLI - boosting the applications of Gesture Tech





With the advancement of wearable tech and other mobile devices,there is no simple way to handle these devices. At I/O 2015, Google's Advanced Technology and Projects group (ATAP) has unveiled Project Soli, which is based on the Gesture-sensing technology aiming  to make a change in interacting with everything from smartwatches and tablets to large screen displays without touching their displays.

Android Lollipop 5.1.1 rolling out for Android One Devices




The smartphones under Google's Android One program have started getting Android Lollipop 5.1.1 updates this morning. The update although doesn't bring any major changes in the user experience but it does come with a lot of bug fixes and performance improvements. The update is being rolled out OTA for all the three devices namely, Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream Uno and Karbonn Sparkle V and the file size is a mere 11 MB.
