Google Fiber is the latest project from Google that works on an attempt to provide broadband internet that can give bandwidth speeds of 1Gbps i.e., 1 Gigabit per second. With such speed, a movie can be downloaded in only 10-15 seconds.  Over 1,100 communities applied to be the first receiver of the technology. In March of 2011, it was announced that Kansas City, Kansas will be the first community where the new network would be installed.

The Google Fiber service will provide 3 services. 1st an internet connection with bandwidth of 1Gbps for $70 per month and it’s another version worth $120 with a TV service. The internet service will include 1TB of Google Cloud storage and the Google TV service will include a 2TB DVR recorder summed up to the Google Drive Space. 8 television shows can be recorded simultaneously by the DVR recorder. A Nexus 7 tablet is also included in the TV service that will act as a remote of that service. Summing up to that, the television service will also stream live program content on iPad and Android tablet computers.
After Google made the infrastructure for the network, its pricing was announced. The construction fee costs about $300 while the 1Gbps plans start from $70 which provides 1TB Google drive while its next plan costs about $120 with the TV service and 2 TB DVR Storage along with the 1TB Google drive storage.
