NOTION INK ADAM II ANNOUNCED

 Notion Ink has laid its cards on the table and said that it would be developing a Notion Ink Adam II Tablet. Looking to its design it  draws from the school of  geometry, where all lines and curves flow in accordance with the golden ratio.There’s always one standout physical factor that makes this tablet unique of all- that is its cylindrical curvature. It adds a practical dimension, as well.It has got a thickness of  14.7 mm to 22 mm, width of  191 mm, length of 269 mm and weighs 1.6 pounds. No matter which side you look at it, the curve is an advantage over the standard tablet, as its 3-degree elevation lends it a natural viewing angle. What’s more, the cylinder stows away easily replaceable batteries, provides rotational housing for the swivel camera, and serves as an excellent location for the stereo speakers. Adam’s screen surfaces are made of pure matte glass that softens reflections under the brightest of lights, and prevents fingerprints. Its frame is crafted from aircraft-grade magnesium and aluminium alloys, making it incredibly light yet strong. 

It has got the Nvidia Dual  Core Tegra 250 Processor there are also  processors to accelerate audio and video, a GeForce GPU which gives  a truly immersive 3D gaming.The OMAP44xx platform's smart multicore architecture pairs its main CPUs with several differentiated features including programmable accelerators, hardware composition engines and a dedicated ISP. Imagination Technologies' super-fast PowerVR SGX5xx GPU and enhanced memory architecture add still more functionality while an OMAP-specific distributed composition architecture enables advanced image and video layering for crisp, HD visuals. These elements and more are the force behind the OMAP44xx processor's ability to enable fast and fluid multitasking while maintaining ultra-low power consumption.It also features with a transflective Screen in which we can do anything under bright sunlight and the screen does not reflect back due to its ambient light sensors.It has also supports with a back-lit LCD for vivid colors and a top-notch multimedia experience, or a transflective display for brilliant clarity and readability in the widest possible range of ambient light conditions. No matter which one you pick, the display clocks in an incredibly fast pace, video-capable refresh-rate of 65 fps compared to conventional e-ink, which does around 2-5 fps.It also features with a 185 degree swivel camera . Its proprietary Automatic View Rotation makes sure your images are always the right side up.

         

Its connectivity options consists of  a HDMI 1080p HD Video Output ,Wi-Fi and Bluetooth microSD, USB and Mini USB Support.This System will help consumers, professionals and students become productive as they will be able to use the tablet as a logic analyzer, medical imaging device, signal acquisition and processing, 3D modeling and multi-media.
